2026 Premium Auction
This year, we have a fantastic lineup of market animals pre-entered and ready to showcase the hard work of our 4-H youth. When you bid in the Premium Auction, you’re making a direct investment in a 4-H member.

Buyer's Meal begins at 6:00pm under the big tent east of the Horse Stalls

Auction starts at 7pm at the Gold Barn
You have three options
as a buyer:
Premium Only
Pay just the premium bid (the 4-H'er retains the animal).
Premium + Floor Price
Purchase the animal by paying both the premium and floor price listed on the sale bill.
Add On
A local business may decide to contribute additional money to a specific exhibitor’s premium or for a large range of 4H members.
To add to a specific child all you need to do is talk to the auctioneer the night of the auction. You can also just hand him one of the bid slips.
The general add on fund is an established program. Several local businesses already contribute $10-$30 per child in the Premium Livestock Auction. To do so, please contact FNB Washington KS at (785) 325-2221.
Your support directly impacts our local youth, reinforcing the values of responsibility, hard work, and perseverance.
There is no cap on premium amounts, and every dollar makes a difference!
We encourage payment the night of the sale, but invoices are available upon request. Please note: 4-H members will not receive their auction checks until full payment is received.
These young people have invested countless hours into their livestock projects, and your participation helps recognize and celebrate those efforts.
